What I've Been Writing Lately

This blog has been highly neglected, as of late, but I have been writing and posting blogs. Yes, I've been unfaithful to you, my loyal readers. (I think there are a few of you left.)

I have been writing blogs for another website, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have shared the posts on Facebook and Twitter as they've come online, but I know that doesn't reach everyone, even those who frequent those spaces. So...I decided I'd do a little roundup of my blogs that have come online in the last few months over at MNBTG.org. (Minnesota Bridging the Gap).

When God Asks, What's Your Name

If God were to ask you this question—“Who are you?”—how would you answer? How would you describe yourself, knowing that he already knows the truth, anyway?

Is Sugar Addition a Real Thing?

God created honey, sugar beets, and sugar cane. He also caused us to have an appreciation for sweet tastes. But, like everything else in life, he warns about the danger of over-indulgence. In Proverbs 25:16 (NIV) he specifically lets us know that too much sweetness at once is not healthy: “If you find honey, eat just enough – too much of it, and you will vomit.”

God's Business Plan for MY Business

“My ways are not your ways,” God tells us in Scripture. While I was reveling in my ability to work from my couch and concerned only with making sure my income remained stable, God was writing out his business plan for us. I was soon to find that God’s plans didn’t revolve solely around me. (Shocker, isn’t it?)

I am just one of several women who contribute to the Bridging the Gap blog. I encourage you to take a browse through some of the other articles and watch more of mine to pop up from time to time.

Sometime (soon?), I will post some fresh words here too. Thanks for taking the time to visit the site and read my words. I don't take that lightly.

Until my next random post. ;)
